Welcome to Ozongwindi Lodge

Ozongwindi Lodge ("fruit of the Shepherd tree" in Herero), boasts 10 free standing thatched bungalows ( 65 m2 ) with own private wooden decks, all bathrooms are en-suite comprising granite vanity tops, Royal Albert baths, granite clad showers, separate toilette / bidet. Bungalow amenities include mini-bars, coffee stations, telephones, air-conditioning/heating and vanity safes. All bungalows are a minimum of 10 meters apart which afford total privacy. The main dining/ lounge / entertainment complex is also covered in thatch and comprises 2 lounge / dining decks, separate restaurant and lounge, well stocked bar, private library with WI-FI. A very private swimming pool with change room facilities which overlook the Savanna with it's numerous game species to be seen whilst relaxing on the pool deck. An illuminated water hole for game viewing rounds up the amenities offered by Ozongwindi Lodge. Activities like Game / Scenic drives, Walking trails along the Khan River ( a dry river bed which occasionally flows during the rainy season ) a variety of game species can be viewed.
Please note: With the onset of the rainy season and the poor condition of many Namibian gravel roads, it is highly advisable that prospective visitors to Namibia should consider hiring a minimum of all wheel drive vehicles and, in many cases, 4x4 vehicles with adequate ground-clearance may be required.
Game & Bird-watching
Game species include Oryx, kudu, springbok, hartebeest, black & blue wildebeest, cheetah, leopard, honey badger and most of the smaller species of game common to the area.
